THE PINNACLE OF SUCCESS

My retirement day is just around the corner,my last working day is on 13.9.2009.
On 1st.September,09 I was offered a job extension of another 3 months as an Independant Contractor(Consultant)for a continuous period of 3 months on aggregate of 20 days in each calender month.As mentioned earlier,thanks Allah I am still healthy,physically and mentally fit for work,not to say extension of 3 months even for another 3 years also I feel I still can work,Insya,Allah.I have accepted and signed the agreement of acceptance.All my passion and hard work in my tenure of service for the past 34 years and 4 months,all this years pays off.
There is no short cuts for success.I have been with so much passion and working very hard to achieve what I am enjoying now.
I considered this as a bonus for bonus.
Alhamdulillah.Thank you Allah !.
I was offered this job extension most probably due to the company recognised my expertise and my good track records as confirmed and verified by the top management of Harvik,I possesses vast knowledge and experience in rubber footwear research and development.
My main job function now is to provide advisory,training and handover all production matters in Semi-Manufacture Department to the newly appointed Production Officer to assist and guide him following the job description accordingly.

I resume work as a consultant/mentor to train and ensure the success of the training of the new Production Officer on all the know-how and on areas where he is still uncomfortable with w.e.f.1.10.2009.

ACCOUNTABILITY.

ACCOUNTABILITY IS KNOWING WHAT YOU’LL GET FIRED FOR.

The superboss goes out of this way to make sure he is 100 per cent clear about his accountabilities.He knows what decisions he can make ,he knows how to delegate accountability and get members of his team to make decisions.
Whoever makes a decisions carries the buck - must be held accountable after the event.Which is why ,in poorly run companies,people try to pass the buck and why inefficient decision-stiffling bureaucracies build up .In such companies issues requiring decisions eddy around in a swirling sea of bureaucracy,commities and upward delegation.The issue will eventually surface with some high-up person who will be forced to say yes or no.That person will then be criticised furiously behind his or her back for making the wrong decision ,the critics being the very same people who passed the buck up in the first place.
The superboss has nothing of this.He’ll make a decision and carry the can.If he’s unclear whether it’s his decision or not he’ll either check with his boss or preferabably take a flyer and make the decision himself.The superboss has learnt that the best way of clarifing grey accountability areas is to make decisions and wait until someone challenges him.That’s his opportunity formally to clarify the accountability.
Of course,the superboss knows that if he makes more than one bad decision he might get fired.Being accountable takes guts !.

REMEMBER
You are a SUPERBOSS if you can make decisions and account for them.

EFFECTIVENESS.

Effectiveness is putting words into action,and action into results.
The worst managers fail at stage one.They are all words and no action.The next worse are those who rush around,full of apparent action , but achieve little result.
You don,t have to look far to see them,the committee managers,the memo-writing managers,the happy chat managers-all full of words
as usual.They achieve little and in ineffective companies don,t get found out .Until the company goes down under .
The flapper is a person of too much action with too little time for it – forever on the phone,rushing from one meeting to the next ,rearranging the diary.The flapper never really has time to fit you or anyone else in.
He achieves little.His or her time will come too .
The superboss is effective,always thinking of how best to use his own and his people,s time for achieving results.He is always evaluating priorities in his pursuit of profit and the right thing for his people.He knows it is more effective to spend half an hour with Linda Wallis discussing why she can,t seem to get her transfer to external affairs,rather than to attend the MRC committee to hear ten people waffle on about things they know little about.
The superboss knows it is more effective to twist personnels arm to get him recruit a top class engineer at a salary in the upper quartile rather than accept their recommendation of a second rate person at a lower salary.
The superboss measures his effectiveness minute by minute,hour by hour,day by day.He is always asking himself.What am I achieving by doing this,deciding that planning for something else.When he occasionally fails to achieve the desired result,he questions his own effectiveness.Where did I go wrong?Why wasn,t I effective?

PUSH FOR EXCELLENCE.

If a manager doesn’t push for excellence,
What does he or she push for ? .
Some managers don’t push.In fact they allow others to push them around – their bosses,the unions,their colleagues,their people.A manager might even get a reputation as being a “pushover”for giving people whatever they want .
The superboss doesn’t sit back and wait to be pushed .He’s out there in front pushing for excellence,for higher standards of performance ,for an even bigger contribution by his team to the company’s profit.
The superboss is able to push hard because he’s very clear about what he has to achieve and very confident about the capabilities of his people.He’ll push them for additional sales revenue,for additional production output,for excellent customer service,for excellent quality,for excellent housekeeping.He’ll push them for an excellent safety record and for excellent employee relations,accepting only a positive cohesive co-operative style of team work.
The superboss pushes for excellence,recognises it and rewards it with praise,giving constructive feedback,to those who are not quite there .To achieve excellence the superboss selects only the very best people and ensures they receive the very best training and development.When his team are round the table he’ll make sure they are very clear about the standards of excellence he wants them to achieve.
The superboss pushes for excellence because he knows that every person in his area wants to be proud of an excellent performance and furthermore wants the support of a superboss to achieve it.

STANDARDS.

Every manager needs Standards
Nobody would deny that you cannot manage without standards.The problem is that in many companies standards are not very well defined and,what is worse,not applied.
Just look at the difference in service standards between a good restaurant and a poor one.The difference is one of management standards.
The same applies to airlines.
Most people can tell you a hundred “war stories” about varying standards in airlines.
But it’s not only service standards,but also standards of report writing,of presentation ,of dress,of behaviour and many others.
The superboss sees the definition and maintainance of standards as a key management task.The standards he sets are crystal clear ,are understood by everyone in his division and,equally important,accepted as being necessary.Let’s take,for example,standards of dress.These days the superboss will recognise that people require a high degree of creative freedom in deciding how to dress.He will therefore develop a standard which gives scope for this (though he would not allow dress which outrages customers ,the visitors or the immediate team).
But it’s not only dress.The superboss will set standards for the recruitment people relating to the efficiency of their response to unsolicited applications.
He’ll set standards of housekeeping in the canteen.He’ll set standards of appearance for company vehicles.He’ll set standards for supervisory training,for performance appraisal and for written communications.
Having set the standards,having got them understood and accepted,he’ll establish controls to ensure they are maintained.Nothing reduces the credibility of a manager more than when he or she sets a standard and then doesn’t attempt to maintain it.

WALKING THE PATCH.

Walking the patch is far preferable to talking in the ivory tower which,
unfortunately,many employees think their managers do most of the time .
The invinsible managers is an impossible manager.How can he see what’s going on ?
By reading reports? .
The superboss puts the highest priority on getting out and about,
walking,talking,listening,learning and finding out about his people.
He wonders around and finds out what they want to know,what problems they want fixed,what they enjoy about their work (he might even be able to make it more enjoyable).The superboss shows an interest ,shows he cares,shows that he wants his people to do well.He spends five minutes here and five minutes there explaining what’s going on in the company while they explain to him what’s happening on the job .
This cannot be achieved by issuing memos from the ivory tower,by using suggestion schemes or producing expensive videos or sending everyone on brainwashing courses .The superboss knows it can only be achieved by walking the patch.
The superboss also encourages other people to walk his patch,to give him feedback.They might see things from a different perspective.
He wants to learn from everyone.A visible manager is a human manager.
A visible manager walking the patch is a superboss facing up to the everyday problems of his teams.You may think that your biggest problem is next year’s budget,but Ah Kow might be more concerned about his worn out lathe machine,or why the company cut down on recruitment this year and his son couldn’t even get an interview.The superboss needs to know because he knows it will effect his team’s motivation and performance.
Besides,the superboss knows that walking the patch is excellent exercise!

Action Today

SET yourself a minimum standard of walking round your department at least four times a week .They should become routine,but with irregular routes,irregular times and of varying duration(say half an hour ).Take note of any problems you encounter and actions you should take.Don,t go behind the supervisor’s back.
Take him into your confidence,and obtain his co-operation.
You’ll learn a lot.

REMEMBER

You shouldn’t have to walk far to see a SUPERBOSS !

ZERO IN.

Select your target and zero in on it.
The superboss has learnt not to be distracted by activities , problems and meetings that are not connected with his target objectives.
He zeros in on the real target and keeps his sights there,suppresing any selfish interest to pursue peripheral activities.
All his energies are concentrated on what he has to achieve and hi zeros in on any problems which might stop him.
If the target is increasing production levels this month,or decreasing stock levels in the warehouse,or recruiting some hard-to-find systems programmers,or introducing a new quality control system,then he,ll zero in on these targets and achieve them.
By zeroing in he focuses his team,s attention on what really has to be achieved.
Lack of focus would dissipate their efforts.

REMEMBER

The SUPERBOSS zeros in on managing people successfully,for that,s the only way to achieve results.

Tips Of The Day.

“Getting Ahead – Never Say These Things”

If you want to be considered a “Star” performer,consider this list of “Never”.
Never say :

 “They didn’t get back to me” or “They are getting back to me” .
Both are equally disastrous . Expecting someone to get back to you stops the action .
Take the initiative .

 “I thought someone else was taking care of that” . Excuses indicate a roadblock to action . Always ask questions to keep things moving .

 “No one ever told me” . Don’t let your superior or subordinate hear you talk this way very often as this will reflect the way you work . You operate in a tunnel , oblivious to everything that is going on around you .

 “I didn’t have time” and “I was too busy” . If you find yourself saying things like this , you are writing your employment obituary .

 “I didn’t think to ask about that” . An inability to see down the road may indicate that you lack the ability to understand and grasp relationships.The message in business today is clear . The only measure for success is performance . Whatever the roadblocks , it is your job to move them . If not , you’ll be perceived as one of them .

In 1897 an Italian economist called Pareto discovered that 20% of people in England had 80% of the money. He also found that 20% of pea pods in his garden produced 80% of his peas. Now he is famous!

His Pareto Principle predicts that ... in any situation, just a few things are much more important than all the rest.

This means:
In business: 20% of customers give you 80% of the profits.
Look after that 20%!

For students: 20% of a book's pages contain 80% of the information. Concentrate on that 20% - then read the next book.


For you: YOUR DAILY TASKS ARE NOT EQUALLY IMPORTANT. If you have ten jobs to do today, two of them will be more critical than the other eight!

Every day, figure out the 20%. Do those things FIRST.

We continue to lament our students'inability to speak and write proper English.
Even our Deputy Prime Minister,Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin,lamented.He could't understand how after 13 years schooling students have a poor grasp of the language.
English is too important a global language to be neglected.If we want to compete effectively we must master English.
Many of our university graduates are unemployable because they cannot speak proper English.You cannot blame companies which won't employ graduates who cannot speak and write English,especially companies that are operating internationally.
Those who speak English and a few other languages stand a better chance of securing well-paid jobs than those who just speak Malay and maybe a smattering of English.
Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was right when he said the Chinese have an advantage over the Malays because they speak Chinese,Malay the national language and English which they study seriously.And the Malays speak only malay with maybe some English which they mostly don't study seriously.
For instance ,many of our government officers do not say much at international conferences even though they know the subject matter well.You know why.
No speak English.
Fortunately,some students are already changing their attitude after seeing their elder brothers and sisters who are graduates languishing in their villages because they could not find employment.
All because they don,t have English proficiency.

We hear statements rebutting what the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister said about English.
The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers(FMM)is also very concerned over the poor command of English among our workforce.
Malaysia needs an adequate supply of competitive and highly skilled manpower that is proficient in English and able to acquire cutting-edge knowledge.
Being the language of global communication and knowledge,competency in English is therefore essential in our drive to be an innovative,high income,high value-added economy.
English needs to be strenghtened because it is the language of Maths,Science,Engineering,ICT and Medicine - the core subjects of scientific knowledge and technology,contributing to greater innovation,knowledge based and higher value-added economic activities.
English is widely used in technical manuals,training especially international training,commerce,trade and in communication with government worldwide.
Employers are facing difficulties finding graduates with an adequate standard of English proficiency to write and discuss work matters,especially technical issues.
In conclusion:Competency in English is the key to creating a pool of competitive,highly skilled and knowledgeable manpower.
There should be greater emphasis on mastering your English.We will be left further behind if we do not improve on our English proficiency,especially the students who are expected to be productive employees 10 years from now.
Knowing English will definitely help improve matters.
English language proficiency must start from young !
You all must start from now !

Matahari, bulan dan bintang adalah ciptaan Tuhan yang sangat luar biasa.
Kebesaran, keagungan dan kesempurnaan-Nya terlihat begitu nyata pada ciptaan-Nya.
Tuhan Yang Maha Pencipta itu pula yang menciptakan manusia dan Ia tidak ingin ciptaan-Nya menjadi hina.Maka, Ia ciptakan manusia dengn sempurna agar manusia yang menjadi wakil-Nya didunia itu juga menjadi mulia.Maka ditiupkan-Nya sifat-sifat indah dan mulia kedalam diri manusia yang menjadi modal dasar kejayaan dan kemuliaan.Maka pergunakanlah energi tersebut – dorongan suara-suara hati.

Bercita-cita besarlah dan berfikirlah untuk maju.Anda tak diciptakan untuk menjadi orang kalah, namun sebagai wakil Allah dibumi untuk memberikan kemajuan dan kesejahteraan sehingga setiap langkah yang anda buat haruslah merupakan langkah-langkah kemenangan.
Allah S.W.T. berada sedekat urat nadi kita.Ia tak ingin anda jatuh namun Ia ingin anda berjaya.

Allah S.W.T. senantiasa mendampingi anda dengan suara-suara hati yang merupakan sifat-sifat-Nya.Apabila anda terjatuh sedarlah itu ertinya masih banyak ilmu Allah yang belum anda ketahui.
Pelajari kesalahan tersebut, cari jawapan mengapa anda jatuh.
Ambil langkah kedua dan bangkitlah kembali kepada Allah yang Maha Agung yang begitu mencintai anda dan menunggu kemenangan anda.

Anda ingin tahu siapa diri anda?.Baru-baru ini ditemui bahawa semua makhluk hidup memiliki alphabet base DNA yang sama iaitu A(Adenine),C(Cytosine),G(Guanine)dan T(Thymine).
Dalam struktur helix ganda DNA,base A berpasangan dengan T,sedang C berdampingan dengan G.Dalam tubuh manusia diperkirakan terdapat 100 trillion sel.Dalam setiap inti sel terdapat 23 pasang kromosom yang disusun oleh tiga million huruf alphabet tadi.Jika DNA dalam setiap tubuh manusia direntangkan,maka panjangnya akan melebehi 600 kali jarak bumi dan matahari!.Cubalah untuk membayangkan sejenak betapa dahsyat dan sempurnanya manusia ciptaan Allah itu,diri anda sendiri.Semua ini diciptakan Allah tak lain kerana manusia adalah makhluk kepercayaan-Nya,wakil Allah yang memiliki fungsi “Rahmatan lil 'Alamin”.

Jangan remehkan diri anda, kerana anda memiliki modal kemuliaan, bahkan kalau seluruh computer dikumpul dimuka bumi ini hingga mencapai bulan pun, tidak akan mampu menandingi manusia ciptaan Allah ini.Jangan sia-siakan kepercayaan Allah.
Anda dirancang dan diciptakan untuk meraih kemenangan.
Konsep takdir yang berbunyi.Apabila seseorang tidak memenuhi keinginan orang lain untuk menjadi terhormat dan untuk menjadi mulia, maka ia tidak akan memperoleh suatu balasan berupa dukungan dari orang lain meski telah memberi harga yang murah adalah bukti bahawa segala sesuatu diciptakan oleh Allah S.W.T. berpasang-pasangan dan sesuai dengan neraca keadilan-Nya. Ini membuktikan bahawa kegagalan bukanlah kerana kesalahan Tuhan tetapi kesalahan kita sendiri yang kurang mempelajari hal-hal tentang keinginan manusia dan tidak melakukan Iqra' (membaca dan menganalisa) terhadap lingkungan sekitar secara baik dan menyeluruh saperti yang telah diperintahkan-Nya.

Zero Mind Process adalah landasan awal dalam memahami ESQ.Didalam solat proses untuk berfikir jernih ini dilambangkan dengan Takbiratul Ihram.Didalam Haji dinamakan Ihram.
Setiap diri telah dikurniai oleh Tuhan sebuah jiwa, yang dengan jiwa itu ia bebas menentukan pilihan reaksi.Bereaksi positif atau negatif, bereaksi berhenti atau meneruskan, bereaksi marah atau sabar, bereaksi reaktif atau proaktif, bereaksi baik atau buruk.

Doa adalah sebuah visi.Keduanya mengandungi cita-cita dan harapan.Muhammad Rasulullah S.A.W.berkata,"Mulailah dengan doa".
Ertinya mulailah dengan sebuah visi.Doa adalah sebuah harapan dan harapan umumnya muncul dalam bentuk visual yang diproses disebelah otak kanan.
Namun banyak orang yang melihat bahawa doa hanyalah sebuah doa tanpa tahu makna doa sebenarnya.Pemaknaan doa yang sempit, tak jarang membuat orang menyalahkan Tuhan ketika doanya tak termakbul.Sementara tak ada usaha yang mengiringi doa tersebut.Pemahaman saperti itu adalah pemahaman yang "terputus" iaitu doa tanpa berusaha secara total.
Kerana itu setiap manusia diwajibkan membuat rumusan akan dirinya,menganalisa serta memperhitungkan apakah dirinya selalu berada on the right track sebagai rahmatan lil'alamin(anugerah bagi alam semesta).Anjuran Nabi S.A.W. yang lain adalah.
Mulailah dengan visi.
Ini adalah sebuah langkah awal dari prinsip keteraturan(Well Organised Principle).

SEMUA MELALUI PROSES

Selama ini sebahagian orang memahami takdir secara separuh-separuh tanpa melihat proses keseluruhan.Mereka beranggapan kejayaan atau kegagalan seseorang semata-mata kerana takdir Tuhan.Kita tidak boleh berhenti berfikir hanya sampai disitu.
Sebelum mencapai kejayaan ada beberapa proses yang perlu dilalui satu persatu.
Itulah yang seharusnya "dibaca"sebelum mencapai takdir kejayaan yang sesungguhnya.
Pada setiap proses yang akan dan telah kita lalui terdapat takdir atau hukum ketetapan Tuhan yang bersifat pasti.Namun anda berhak untuk memilih setiap langkah yang akan menentukan takdir anda.Contohnya apabila anda kurang memaksakan diri untuk banyak"membaca"maka akan berlaku suatu hukum kepastian bahwa anda akan kekurangan pengetahuan.Disini yang tidak pasti adalah keinginan dan pilihan untuk "membaca atau tidak membaca"dari dalam diri anda.Pilihan inilah yang sebenarnya menyebabkan kegagalan atau kejayaan berupa konsekuensi dari suatu pilihan.Jika anda sudah berusaha maksimal (menurut anda)namun masih juga gagal,ertinya anda belum berusaha secara total dan sempurna.

Begitu banyak orang terperangkap didalam kesibukan hariannya dan merasa telah bekerja keras.Namun sebenarnya mereka tidak kemana-mana kerana tidak ada tujuan yang jelas.Sehingga yang dilakukan hanyalah menghabiskan hari-hari dengan bekerja atau melaksanakan tugas sahaja.
Tidak ada harapan lain dalam diri kami,begitu selalu keluh mereka.Meski sebenarnya banyak aktiviti yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengubah segalanya menjadi lebih baik,seringkali mereka enggan bahkan untuk memikirkannya saja tidak mau,apalagi melakukan tindakan nyata untuk merealisasikan harapan tersebut.
Menunggu nasib baik lebih suka dilakukan,sambil terus-menerus berdoa tanpa pernah sedikit pun berusaha,apalagi melakukan evaluasi untuk penyempurnaan.Tidak sempat,begitu selalu katanya.Kesempatan baginya hanya mimpi.
Mereka tidak mahu mencari peluang baru dan melakukan apa-apa sebelum orang lain memberikan tawaran atau janji.Hari-hari dilewatinya dengan menyesali nasib.
Jika ditanya ia akan menjawab.Saya sudah berusaha,padahal saat itu ia hanya bersantai-santai.Mengapa hal ini bisa terjadi?
Salah satu penyebab utamanya,tidak ada visi dan keyakinan diri.
Akibatnya tidak ada tujuan yang jelas dalam hidup mereka.
Sungguh sayang,mereka menutup suara hati untuk bangkit dan maju - yang telah ada didasar hati mereka.
Islam tidak menghalang umatnya menggunakan akal fikiran bagi membawa perubahan baru dalam kehidupan sejagat manusia,malah mengecam mereka yang tidak mahu menggunakan akal fikiran itu.

Binatang(makhluk)yang buruk disisi Allah adalah orang-orang yang pekak dan tuli iaitu yang tidak mengerti apa-apa pun. (Al Anfal) : 22

Disinilah letak pemahaman sejatinya,bahawa mekanisme itu milik Allah S.W.T. Mengapa?. Kerana Allah-lah awal semesta,yang mencipta alam semesta,sedang manusia hanya "membaca" mekanisme tersebut,kemudian menukarkannya menjadi teori berdasarkan perhitungannya.
Itu disebut theorizing the practice.Contohnya E = mc 2 yang sering disebut Teori Einstein merupakan hasil pengamatan yang disimpulkan dalam sebuah teori,kemudian dimanfaatkan untuk mencapai tujuan manusia secara lebih efektif dan lebih efisien(practise the theory). Sehingga manusia mampu memanfaatkan kekuatan dan mekanisme alam yang teratur tersebut untuk menunjang keinginannya.
Teori Relativiti Einstein adalah benda dan energi yang berada dalam erti yang berimbang dan hubungan antara keduanya dirumuskan sebagai :

"Dan segala sesuatu Kami ciptakan berpasang-pasangan supaya kamu ingat(akan kekuasaan Allah)."
- QS Adz Dzariyat (Angin yang Menebarkan) 51 : 49 -

E merujuk pada energi dan m menunjukkan massa atau benda,sedangkan c adalah simbol kecepatan cahaya.Kerana c sama dengan 180.000 km per detik,dengan sendirinya c 2 (cxc) = (180.000x180.000)akan menghasilkan energi yang tak terperikan!.Dengan demikian bererti : meskipun terjadi perubahan pada sebahagian kecil massa atom dalam molekul,
sesungguhnya ia akan mengeluarkan jumlah energi yang luar biasa besarnya.
Teori ini dibuktikan ketika bom atom menghancur-luluhkan Hiroshima dan Nagasaki pada 1945.
Einstein dalam hal ini telah "membaca"hukum keseimbangan alam antara massa dan energi yang dirumuskan sebagai E = mc 2 tersebut.Disini kadang2 orang tersesat dengan mengatakan bahwa Albert Einstein adalah orang yang "menemui"energi teori atom.
Einstein memang telah mampu membaca,menelaah,mendalami,meneliti serta menyampaikan atau pun melakukan Iqra' terhadap ketetapan-ketetapan alam ciptaan Allah yang Maha Ilmu namun tetaplah Dia Yang Maha Kuat yang memiliki kekuatan tersebut bukan Einstein.

Assalamu'alaikum !.Beberapa tahun dulu abah ada mengikuti kursus komunikasi dan presentation.Abah ingin kongsi pengetahuan yang abah dapati itu.Pensyarah itu membuka permulaan kursus dengan satu cerita.Ianya bertajuk bull's eye.Firdaus tahu apa itu bull's eye?.Ianya ialah satu dot ditengah2 dart board/sasaran yang tepat ditengah2 .Saperti biasa jika kita jarang2 berlatih melontar kita tak akan dapat menemui sasaran yang tepat ditengah2 itu dengan mudah!.Tapi jika kita selalu/kerap practice/berlatih insya'Allah kita akan dapat membuat lontaran dengan tepat ditengah2 dart board itu.The more you practice,the more chances of you hitting the bull's eye.That means apa yang abah nak katakan disini ialah.
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
Begitu jugalah dengan Fizik dan Matematik jika kita selalu membuat latihan2/ulangkaji2 insya'Allah abah percaya lambat laun kita akan boleh buat dengan lebih baik/cemerlang.

Firdaus bagaimana sekarang?.Abah dan keluarga semua sihat2 dan baik2 saja.Ini satu lagi contoh untuk motivasi.Firdaus tentu tahu siapakah yang berusaha dan berjaya merekacipta Elektrik dan seterusnya membuat lampu menyala?Tentu Firdaus tahu kan.Jawapannya tentulah Thomas Alva Edison.Soalnya bagaimanakah beliau berjaya?.Adakah senang saja?.Adakah dengan hanya mencuba beberapa kali sahaja dia telah berjaya?.Jika Firdaus hendak tahu beliau telah membuat penyelidekan dan penciptaan hingga ke6000 kali masih belum berjaya untuk membuatkan mentol lampu itu menyala.Beliau tidak pernah give up,tak pernah berputus asa walaupun emaknya memberitahunya tak usahlah mencubanya lagiSebaliknya dia memberitahu emaknya dengan berkata.Dia masih belum gagal lagi.Selagi dia masih mahu terus mencuba.Tetapi sebaliknya dia memberitahu emaknya bahawa dia telah berjaya mencari 6000 sebab2 dan punca2 mengapa lampu itu masih tak bernyala.Beliau masih mencuba lagi membuat penyelidikan iaitu penyelidekan yang ke6001.Akhirnya dia berjaya membuat mentol/lampu itu menyala pada percubaannya yang ke6001 dan hingga kehari inilah kaedah yang sama digunakan/diteruskan dan kita dapat menggunakan lampu2 dan berbagai2 lagi alat yang mengunakan elektrik.Lagi sekali abah ulangi.Kita tak boleh dikatakan gagal selagi kita belum berhenti dan masih terus mencuba.Begitulah juga dengan subject Physic itu.Abah nak tanya dan Firdaus jawablah dengan jujur.Berapa kali telah Firdaus cuba untuk menyelesaikan satu2 soalan itu adakah 10 kali,100 kali 500 kali atau 1000 kali.Kalau tidak Firdaus perlulah terus mencubanya.Soalnya terus mencuba dan mencuba.Begitulah contoh2 orang2 yang berjaya sentiasa mempunyai disiplin yang tinggi dan sentiasa bersikap positif.
Semoga terus berusaha dan berjaya.

Assalamu'alaikum Firdaus!
Firdaus apa khabar sekarang?.Abah harap Firdaus sihat2 saja.Kesihatan perlu dijaga!sebab otak yang cergas itu datangnya dari badan yang sihat.Disini sekali lagi abah nak sambungkan tentang orang yang merekacipta kapal terbang yang pertama yang diberi nama Flyer pada zaman dulu.Satu contoh saperti Wilbur Wright dan Orville Wright bersaudara yang cuba membuat kapal terbang.Mereka berdua selalu berangan2 untuk terbang keangkasa.Orang2 dulu mengatakan dia gila untuk membuat besi yang boleh terbang membawa mereka keawan!Mereka telah mencipta berbagai2 alat2 untuk terbang tetapi tidak berjaya.Mereka menghabiskan masa selama TIGA tahun barulah mereka berjaya mencipta flyer,itu pun hanya boleh terbang selama 12 saat saja.Dari situ mereka terus mencipta dan mengubahsuai dan mencipta lagi.Pada masa itulah kapalterbang mula digunakan iaitu pada Perang Dunia Kedua.Apa yag cuba abah sampaikan disini ialah mereka mengambil masa yang sungguh lama (TIGA TAHUN) hanya untuk mencuba dan berjaya!.Mereka tak pernah jemu2 mencuba walaupun telah gagal beratus-ratus kali.Lets discuss about your Physic subject!.Firdaus perlu mencuba dan terus mencuba,berusaha seratus peratus,tanya guru2 atau kawan2 dan buat semula/ulangkaju sioalan2 dari exam2 yang lepas.Physic abah rasa tidaklah sesusah membuat kapal terbang sebab pada masa dulu tiada contoh untuk ditiru! sedangkan subject Physic abah percaya formula atau jalan penyelesaiannya sememangnya sudah sedia ada.Cuma disini kita kena terus rajin membuat praktikal dan selalu mengulangkajinya.Semoga kali ini Firdaus mencuba berusaha seratus peratus.Abah doakan semoga Firdaus berjaya.
Asalkan Firdaus sudah sejujurjujurnya sudah mencuba 100% dan Firdaus sendiri sudah honestly try your very best(100%) abah sudah berpuas hati walaupun hanya sekadar lulus!.
Kita tidak boleh dikategorikan/dikatakan gagal selagi kita masih mahu terus mencuba!

Tawakal selepas usaha


Dalam sebuah hadis yang diriwayatkan oleh Tirmizi bahawa pada zaman Nabi Muhammad SAW dulu ada seorang Arab Badawi yang datang kemasjid dan meninggalkan untanya tanpa diikat.Kemudian dia terus masuk kemasjid dan menganggap tindakannya itu sebagai tawakal kepada Allah.
Rasulullah yang melihat kejadian berkenaan segera datang kepadanya dan bersabda:
"Ikatlah unta itu dan bertawakallah kepada Allah"
Definisi tawakal menurut kacamata ulama tersohor dunia,Prof.Dr Yusuf Al-Qardawi pula ialah,apabila seorang manusia menyusun dan mengatur persiapan,persediaan,strateji dan daya usaha.Kemudian dia menyerahkan hasilnya kepada Allah.

Siti Hajar isteri Nabi Ibrahim A.S.pada suatu waktu berjalan berulang-alik ditengah padang pasir yang tandus,mencari air untuk anaknya diantara Bukit Safa dan Marwa.
Safa artinya adalah "kesucian dan ketegaran".Siti Hajar ketika itu tidak hanya berlari satu kali lalu berhenti tetapi dia berlari tujuh kali kerana tidak menjumpai air yang diperlukannya.
Pada akhirnya air itu diperolehi ditempat yang tidak disangka-sangka iaitu dekat Ka'abah,bukan diSafa ataupun diMarwa.
Sekarang marilah kita berfikir sejenak.Siti Hajar adalah seorang wanita berkulit hitam.
Ia berjuang dipadang pasir yang tandus seorang diri untuk menyelamatkan putranya Ismail A.S.Siti Hajar menentukan prioriti dan usaha yang jelas iaitu mencari air bukan yang lain.
Perhatikanlah kata-kata kunci berikut :
Seorang wanita,berkulit hitam,seorang diri,padang pasir tandus,panas terik,berlari-lari dari Safa ke Marwa,tujuh kali.Mengapa Allah S.W.T. memilih Siti Hajar?.
Seorang wanita berkulit hitam,ditengah padang pasir yang tandus dan seorang diri,
melambangkan kondisi keputusasaan ketika seorang sudah kehabisan akal fikiran ditengah padang pasir.Ketika Siti Hajar seorang diri ditengah padang pasir,apa yang diyakininya ?.
Apa cahaya harapan itu ?.
Itulah Cahaya Allah S.W.T.
Teladan dari sikap Siti Hajar itu diabadikan oleh Allah S.W.T. dalam Sa'i ketika menunaikan Haji untuk mengajarkan manusia tentang pentingnya sikap istiqamah,persistensi atau usaha tiada henti dan tak kenal penat lelah.

Anak-anakku berusahalah bersungguh2 dengan tak kenal penat lelah, pantang menyerah kalah, tak jemu2 seperti sa'inya Siti Hajar.
Jikalau anda mampu melakukanya,lakukanlah.
Nescaya kejayaan dan kurnia dunia dan akhirat akan tiba seperti halnya kurnia air zam-zam yang mengalir tiada hentinya hingga saat ini diMekah.
